Bluewin Co., Ltd. took part in the 20th Korea–China Environmental Technology Cooperation Forum held in Nanjing, China, from October 17 to 19, 2025, organized by the Korea Environmental Conservation Institute (KECI).
The forum brought together leading Korean and Chinese environmental enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions to share cutting-edge technologies and foster green industry cooperation between the two countries.
At the event, Bluewin showcased its core sludge reduction technologies — the ELODE electro-osmosis dewatering system and the NVD natural drying system.
Together, these innovations enable sludge volume reduction by more than 50% and CO₂ emission cuts of over 70%, providing one of the world’s most energy-efficient and eco-friendly sludge treatment solutions.
By replacing traditional heat-based drying methods with an electrical and natural process, Bluewin’s ELODE+NVD system minimizes operating costs (OPEX), carbon output, and maintenance requirements, offering a breakthrough for the global wastewater industry.
During the forum, Bluewin engaged in productive discussions with several Chinese partners, including:
Jiangsu Binuo Environmental Technology Co., Ltd., exploring joint pilot testing that integrates ELODE with carbonization processes, aimed at resource recovery and circular utilization of sludge.
IEM BASE (中韩环境高端装备制造基地), an organization promoting the introduction and verification of advanced international environmental technologies in China. The two parties discussed potential cooperation for applying the ELODE + NVD system in public wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) upgrades across multiple provinces.
Bluewin also participated in one-on-one networking sessions organized by KECI, introducing the company’s proven performance in more than 1,000 global installations and its commitment to carbon-neutral wastewater management.
