DEMO Equipment Sales Contract
Contract Terms

The price for the EODS-500 model DEMO equipment is $190,000 on an EX-Work basis, and an exclusive agency right for three years is granted upon contract signing.

Contract Benefits
  • Bluewin covers the cost of training and accommodation for two engineers (one mechanical, one electrical) from the Sole Agent at its headquarters in Korea.
  • When the DEMO equipment arrives at the Sole Agent’s site, Bluewin dispatches a Master Engineer to provide on-site training. Airfare is covered by Bluewin, while accommodation costs are covered by the Sole Agent.
  • One year of consumables is provided at no cost. 
  • Free installation and commissioning support are offered for the first main equipment order.

Engineer Training at Bluewin Headquarters
Training Schedule

After the DEMO equipment is completed, engineers from the Sole Agent are invited to Bluewin’s headquarters in
Korea for a 7–15 day intensive training program that covers both theoretical and practical aspects.

Training Content
  1. Theoretical Training: A thorough understanding of ELODE’s principles, including electro-osmosis, electro-penetration, electrophoresis, power management, and optimization of OPEX and CAPEX. Training materials include technical guides, sludge process diagrams, and operational manuals to ensure a comprehensive grasp of theory. 
  2. Practical Training:
    • Equipment Assembly and Disassembly : This part assesses engineers’ understanding of the equipment’s principles and process design.
    • Equipment Operation: This part assesses engineers’ understanding of the equipment’s principles and process design.
    • Troubleshooting and A/S: Engineers are trained to address specific issues related to different sludge types, and to troubleshoot and perform A/S (After Service) for common equipment problems. Practical sessions prepare engineers to identify and resolve issues early, addressing a range of operational scenarios. 
  3. On-Site Simulation: Engineers use real sludge samples to practice dewatering and reduction operations, adjusting equipment settings according to sludge conditions for optimized operation

Final Exam and Certificate Issuance
  1. Exam Structure: Upon completion of training, engineers undergo a final evaluation consisting of both theoretical and practical exams.
    • Theoretical Exam: Engineers must score a minimum of 80 out of 100 to pass. 
    • Practical Evaluation: Engineers perform tasks such as equipment operation, sludge feeding and discharge, and troubleshooting to demonstrate hands-on competency.
  2. Grading Criteria: Engineers must score a minimum of 80 out of 100 to pass. 
  3. Certificate Issuance: Engineers who score 80 or higher receive a certificate. Certified engineers are authorized to train junior engineers, while uncertified engineers are not permitted to conduct ELODE-related training. 
  4. Retake Opportunity: Engineers who do not meet the passing score are given a chance to retake the exam to earn certification.

DEMO Equipment Shipping and On-Site Training
  • Equipment Shipping: After training and certification, the DEMO equipment is shipped to the site specified by the Sole Agent.
  • Requesting On-Site Training: Once the DEMO equipment arrives on-site, the Sole Agent can request that a Master Engineer be dispatched from Bluewin. 
  • On-Site Training
    • The Master Engineer assists with the installation and setup of the DEMO equipment, providing guidance on troubleshooting installation issues.
    • Sludge Testing: Engineers conduct real-time sludge tests on-site, learning to adjust settings and optimize operational conditions based on the sludge properties.
    • Operations and Maintenance: On-site training covers optimized operation for specific site conditions, as well as maintenance and A/S procedures.

Initiation of Sales Activities
  • Sales Activities : The Sole Agent engages in sales efforts by participating in regular exhibitions, roadshows, and conferences to attract main project clients. 
  • Roadshow Demonstrations: The DEMO equipment is loaded onto a trailer and used to conduct live sludge testing demonstrations on-site, allowing customers to witness equipment performance firsthand, thus building trust and establishing credibility.
  • Operational Guide Reference: For effective operation, Sole Agents should refer to the "DEMO Equipment Operational Guidelines" for detailed operational instructions.

Ongoing Support and Technology Updates
  • Regular Training and Upgrades : Bluewin regularly invites Sole Agent engineers to Korea to share upgraded technologies and updated operational methods. 
  • Networking Events: Bluewin organizes site visits, technical tours, recreational activities, and dinners to strengthen its relationship with Sole Agents, ensuring they remain updated with the latest advancements and maintain a collaborative partnership.
