BLUEWIN Achieves USD 370 Million in Business Consultations at IE EXPO SHANGHAI 2025 — Establishes Itself as Global Leader in Sludge Reduction Technology
Seoul, May 2025 — South Korea-based environmental technology company BLUEWIN Co., Ltd., led by CEO Antonio Kim (Kim Youngjo), announced that it had achieved USD 370 million in consultation volume and is currently pursuing USD 6.3 million in contracts during its participation in IE EXPO SHANGHAI 2025.
As the first company in the world to commercialize DC triple-phase electro-osmosis, electrophoresis, and electro-infiltration technologies for organic sludge, BLUEWIN’s proprietary process guarantees over 50% sludge reduction within three minutes, energy consumption of just 0.45 kWh/kg, carbon emission reductions over 50%, and drying to moisture content as low as 10% — all with a payback period under 24 months.
BLUEWIN was selected as an official exhibitor in the Korea Pavilion, jointly organized by the Korean Environmental Industry & Technology Institute (KEITI) and the Korea Environmental Preservation Association, where it held high-profile meetings with major Chinese public and private buyers. Distinguished guests such as directors and officials from the Ministry of Environment of Korea visited BLUEWIN’s booth and engaged in in-depth technical discussions.
CEO Antonio Kim stated, “The Chinese sludge treatment market is at a turning point — moving away from low-cost, idle equipment towards verified high-efficiency systems. Thanks to the enhanced supervision by local authorities and our continuous presence in the region for the past eight years, we are now entering a stage where commercial deployment is truly beginning.”
As a globally recognized company, BLUEWIN has already secured export deals and demonstration projects in the U.S. (public utilities), Europe (Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary, Poland), and the Middle East (UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia). The company has already closed its 2026–2027 production schedule, due to increasing demand.
One major buyer from Guangdong Province has formally requested to purchase a pilot-scale demonstration unit, proposing a two-phase verification and procurement strategy that could lead to full-scale municipal deployment.
BLUEWIN emphasized that the sludge treatment industry, often regarded as dirty, dangerous, and undesirable, is being transformed into a sustainable and profitable sector through advanced resource recovery technology. The company is determined to promote sludge “resource-ization and naturalization,” contributing to a cleaner water cycle and global environmental improvement.
CEO Antonio Kim added, “South Korea’s export support framework is one of the most robust in the world. By combining this with our proven technology and accumulated experience, BLUEWIN will further drive the globalization of Korean green technology.”
