Bluewin Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Young-Jo) announced that it successfully concluded its participation at INDOWATER 2025, held in Jakarta, Indonesia from August 13 to 15, recording remarkable attention and achievements at this year’s exhibition.

Once again, Bluewin showcased its cutting-edge ELODE+NVD combined system, emphasizing sludge reduction and low-energy, high-efficiency technology. Throughout the exhibition, the booth was crowded with visitors and was regarded as one of the most dynamic and popular among the Korean exhibitors.

In the past, Indonesia showed limited awareness of sludge reduction and recycling, with environmental regulations often being more formal than effective. However, this year’s exhibition revealed a clear shift. Government officials, corporate representatives, and numerous visitors expressed strong agreement that “sludge treatment and recycling are no longer optional but essential,” engaging actively in consultations.

Compared with last year, the most notable change was the deeper recognition of treatment costs and technical necessity. This indicates that opportunities and the role of technology-leading companies like Bluewin are expanding rapidly in the Indonesian market.

Ahead of the exhibition, Bluewin also participated in the Korea-Indonesia Water Industry Cooperation Seminar. This seminar aimed to strengthen collaboration in water management and environmental technology between the two nations. Representing Korea as a leading sludge treatment company, Bluewin highlighted the importance of low-carbon, high-efficiency technology, drawing significant attention from local stakeholders.

By combining activities at both the seminar and exhibition, Bluewin positioned itself not merely as an exhibitor but as a strategic partner spanning policy, industry, and technology networks.

A “Hot Booth” Proven by Results

During the exhibition, Bluewin conducted more than 50 consultations, of which 9 progressed to follow-up discussions. Currently, about 5 contracts are under negotiation, valued at approximately USD 1.44 million. The total consultation volume reached USD 73.56 million, ranking Bluewin among the top-performing exhibitors.

Buyers were particularly impressed by the ELODE+NVD system’s performance, which reduces sludge with 80% moisture content to below 60% in just 1 minute 30 seconds, and dries it further to 10% moisture. They also praised the system’s world-leading low energy consumption (0.25–0.35 kWh/L) and its ability to cut carbon emissions by over 70%, perfectly aligned with Indonesia’s ongoing environmental policies.

This year’s exhibition was more than just a showcase of Bluewin’s technology—it demonstrated the value that Korean environmental companies can create in global markets. Despite new regulatory requirements mandating C11 business visas for all participants, the exhibition proceeded smoothly thanks to the detailed support of KEITI (Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute) and related organizations.
