Expanding Cooperation in Sludge and By-product Reduction & Upcycling
Last week, Bluewin Co., Ltd. announced that Mr. KT Chua, CEO of Singapore’s environmental technology company Singnergy, officially visited Bluewin’s headquarters in Korea, invited by the Korea Environmental Preservation Association. Mr. Chua, who has maintained a long-standing partnership with Bluewin, engaged in in-depth discussions during this visit on sludge reduction technologies and food by-product recycling and upcycling initiatives in Korea. As a result of the discussions, the two companies officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to pursue a trade volume of USD 5 million over the next five years. Notably, Singnergy has also agreed to participate in a joint project with one of Korea’s leading food processing companies (Company C) to upcycle all by-products generated during food production, with follow-up support already committed.
